I use weechat inside screen alot, therefore its difficult to monitor it with ^A M because the clock in the infobar changes every second :)
Because i have a infobar in wmii allready i disabled the one in weechat like this:
/set look_infobar = off
technorati tags:weechat, irc, infobar

After getting more aquanted with weechat and wanting to take back some of my screen real estate, I decided to modify the source code and minimize things. You can find the source code and a screenshot of what the minimal weechat looks like under Notes on my website if you are interested.
